Employers added 273,000 jobs last month as the U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 percent matching a 50-year low, according to the most recent U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report. Economists polled by Market Watch forecast a 165,000 increase. The February gain is the 113th consecutive month of job growth.
