[FF7R] semi-tempted to do another playthrough with the Japanese voices to see which I like better.

I actually really liked the English VAs, which surprised me. Normally I'm not a fan for story heavy JRPGs, but the actors they got did a really good job.

normally I prefer the Japanese VAs because if it's in another language I normally don't pick up as much awkwardness in the lines, but the English VAs were pretty natural sounding a lot of the time.

I mean, it's a Final Fantasy game, so of course there's cheese. But for the most part it was pretty good.

the only one I was kinda disappointed in was Sephiroth. I'd heard his Japanese voice, which was pretty good, but his English VA...it wasn't bad, but it was a little too flat.
