Let's hope we will be better

There will be a new normal. There will never be the normal we had before.

I hope its a better normal... the last few new normals stank.

At this point I strongly suspect that we're going right back to the way things were. We really lack perspective on global disruption, 'cause we've seen almost none of it in decades.

We need a better normal.

I don't think we will be better, but I hope these children will be.

I guess that I see it from Theodore Parker’s perspective: the arc of change is long, but it bends toward the moral right. Don’t worry that there are wrongs in the world; there will always be so. See that you yourself act with love and compassion.
