with the UK really only testing and counting CoViD-19 cases which are serious enough to require hospitalisation (minus the ones who die so quickly at home or in care homes that they don't even get there!) the recovery figures are stark.

I think we have somewhat broader testing here, but people must be symptomatic, and in a select group of people (essential workers, at risk, or seriously ill I think). So our numbers are probably showing worse than they really are. Our overall numbers (in BC) are looking quite reasonable. But I don't really want to consider that we are "recovered".

that “recovered” figure has been unchanged at 135 for weeks and weeks. They are not reporting it anymore.

that would certainly make things look worse but it's a very odd thing to do - especially as the numbers all still add up.
