I will go with Egon/Janine just so I can talk about it: I think it's a fine ship, the actors from the cartoon like it, but man it is just not for me

Egon seems to so blatantly feel really platonically for her. "They went to a theme park on a date!" HE TOOK PETER TO THE OPERA, he canonically washes Peter's back, Egon is a deeply platonically affectionate person

He has never shown a single drop of interest in a female character to the point that it's a running gag, and the intentionally overlook plots where he COULD and it would be Normal to make him interested in a woman

He turns Janine down a lot, blatantly, and they make excellent friends because she's got so much spunk where he doesn't. She balances him

I think they work really, really great in a fake dating AU

He's got to bring someone to dinner, his family heard he was seeing someone and he's got to be passable but they end up fake dating for a very long time until eventually they get caught out

and it just goes buckwild from there including jealously spirits or something
