i'm using taffington boathouse renewal for the house

my design decisions were based on "what could they scavenge from the area?" which meant "from malden"

because elle isnt a builder

but she'd be a scavenger and bigger on repurposing things than building anew

so theres furniture that could be brought out of the vault and hospitals

which is also why taffington ended up with a clinic, between the hospital and med-tek research

maccready's office is a combination of a pre-cluttered desk for sim settlements, and decorations that i added (some of the note papers, definitely the comics, some of the alcohol clutter)

is specifically a child bed, and the toys and the drawing on the floor... that's meant for duncan

bc once he recovers well enough for travel, maccready takes elle and goes and picks up duncan from the capital wasteland and moves him to the commonwealth

i headcanon that duncan's been in the care of princess and either another lamplighter or her romantic partner or maybe just a good friend or two -- taking care of the maccready homestead while mac's off doing his thing

so when rj moves duncan to taffington, he lets them keep the homestead
