Does fruit ever respawn on your trees or do you need to replant?

And do rocks (the ones you can hit to mine resources) ever respawn on your island? Because I need Iron Nuggets to give to Timmy and I broke apart all the ones I had before I learned you can hit them with an axe instead of a shovel to get more out of them...

i believe fruit grows back! it's been a while. i know someone said the rocks respawn the next day. i'm only one day two but a lot of my friends are ahead of me

Like the rocks thing, I read a guide that showed you how to get more out of them (dig a few holes so you're in a solid position and don't get bumped around), so I did that, but all the rocks I tried broke with one hit from my shovel
