[coronavirus] just a quick vent

but I wish people would stop acting like this is the opening beats of the inevitable coming apocalypse

is it bad? yes

will it mean things change? yes

is it the end of the world? NO

stop helping my anxiety act like it is, tyvm

it probably is, for some of them

it's just one that runs right into my coping mechanisms and doesn't help

it's like my boyfriend's general coping method of "expect the worst, therefore I'll be happily surprised if that doesn't happen" which bounces off my "I need a little hope or else I catastropize"
