My store is “essential” so it remains open but will shift to limited hours tomorrow. 6am-6pm instead of its normal 10pm close time. Everyone keeps their hours, and if scheduled for after 6pm will do extra cleaning and stocking...

They’ve also given an additional 40/80 hours PTO depending on if your part or full time. This is on top of the 20/40 hours PTO we normally have and my annual 40 hours paid vacay.... So I’m looking at 160 hours of paid leave for this year...

Which is insane, but I’m very fortunate and thankful to have access to.

My main concern rn is my mom. She’s in the midst of being transfers from one care facility in Southeast Alaska to Anchorage. This is delaying her transfer and she’s had to cancel many treatment appointments. She’s starting to feel anxious and I hate not being able to be there for her.
