Things I am very grateful for in the present circumstances:

- Having a house with a nice backyard.

- That backyard containing a wildflower garden which is finally starting to bloom, and a vegetable garden which is presently bearing a bounty of carrots and peas.

- Having coincidentally stocked up on a bunch of meat BEFORE shit started getting pandemic-y.

I made some wonderful slow-cooker chicken.... stew, really, because I did not account for how much liquid the egg noodles would suck up

but it was delicious and full of vegetables I grew my very own self

- also that I'm on the permanent early voter list and already mailed in my ballot for the primary

my vegetable starts are honestly my biggest joy right now

Last night we did egg noodles with cabbage, ground pork and lots of hungarian smoked hot paprika, which is one of my fav comfort foods
