I was able to hold a normal class today and explain to the group how to navigate their upcoming presentations

some people just signed in and left themselves on mute as if I wouldn't notice that they were off doing other things, but tbh that's not very different from how classes work in person

I was expecting a disaster and what I got was a surprisingly normal class experience

blackboard in general is a shitshow that I only use as a place to shove files and backup materials in case someone misses a handout

but the live classroom actually works and no one is more surprised than I am

living my best life pairing a nice blouse with ninja turtle pajama pants

the hardest part was finding a place to set up shop that had a neutral enough background because I know the students would be picking apart my living situation if I showed the wrong thing
