Few things feel more living-through-the-apocalypse than navigating a grocery store with nearly empty shelves.

From what we've heard, there is literally no toilet paper, paper towels, water, etc. available in the entire area. I hoped the reports were overblown but lol nope.

There weren't even any canned meats left except things like shrimp and clams that I won't eat.

I've never seen anything like it. We met a lady who was taking pictures to send to her kids in Arizona because they didn't believe the situation could be that bad.

....Or, well, it wasn't as of Thursday night, but things mayve changed since then....

Yeah, it might have. We always do our groceries on Saturday and it was NOT like this last week.

The only thing we were seeing was a limit on the number of water bottles people could buy.

But there were plenty left. Now there is NOTHING. No paper products, most canned food gone, most veggies gone, pasta, etc.

Down most of the aisles we'd just find a few random things that no one wanted, lol.

I ended up hitting WM today and it's not THAT bad here yet but certain things are definitely wiped out

there was 0 toilet paper, most of the tissues and paper towels were gone

there were people hovering around the stocker with the pallet of water bottles and he was basically just unloading them into carts.....

Yeeeeah, those seem to be the first things to go.

We're gonna just fill our jugs with tap water as we empty them. The only thing I'm really worried about is toilet paper lol.

Oh, and menstrual pads. :T;;;;

Best case scenario we have a bunch of emergency supplies that we don't end up needing.

But we are actually running out of a few crucial things that we buy on a weekly/monthly basis and this interrupted that.
