[work, but also, help] I don't... Understand what is causing this problem. I took on the task of hard coding some subs into recordings of our webinars which, THEORETICALLY, I know how to do, but for some reason in the finished product the subs are switching too fast and outpacing the video?

Peil Wiggler
if I play it with soft subs playing over the MP4, they time out fine

Peil Wiggler
but as soon as I hard code them they move like, just a SMIDGE too fast for you to be able to read them properly

Peil Wiggler
VIDEO... IS CONFUSING....

Peil Wiggler
lmfao you know what

Peil Wiggler
I'm waiting for the file to stream so I can test it but

Peil Wiggler
I might just be a moron

Peil Wiggler
and still have the playback speed set to x1.10 speed

plurkishdelight
oh

plurkishdelight
oops

Peil Wiggler
I'm not, POSITIVE ABOUT THAT? but

Peil Wiggler
we'll see

Peil Wiggler
I had it set to a higher speed the other day when I was trying to take some notes on something and IDK if VLC retains that setting between sessions

Peil Wiggler
I hope it IS something that dumb, bc then I wouldn' thave to fix anything.

Peil Wiggler
ok it might not be me or my video rendering, it might just be that the timing on these subs fuckin' sucks

Peil Wiggler
(I didn't time these out personally, we send them out to a contractor who generally sends them back to us full of mistakes)
