it's 5:18pm and Hailey has been in surgery since 10:30 this morning

oh goodness, that is a long time to be waiting, I hope it's not much longer, you are all in my thoughts

SHE'S OUT OF SURGERY NOW!! it was a success, she did well the whole time, and a good family friend who stayed at the hospital today too for moral support sent me photos of the before and after xrays of Hailey's hips, and there's such a huge difference! I'm so relieved but also got hit with a wave of sleepiness as soon as I read her message

like all the tension released at once and I feel exhausted now
