Its crazy to think what might've happened and what wouldn't have happened in the wasteland if Fran had been killed in the vault

Its difficult to say what would happen in the long term? But I don't see the railroad succeeding without Fran, she's a huge instrument to their cause

The Institute likely would've continued to flourish? But idk. Fran was also incredibly important as to finding their location so I find it unlikely that the Brotherhood would've found them? Though they were more likely than the railroad

Minutemen probably would've died off with Garvey and the few survivors they were trying to protect

A lot of the companions probably would've continued their toxic cycles. Danse being a bigot or found out to be a synth and killed, Cait continuing her addiction, Nick might've never found and killed Winter- depriving him of closure. etc

Fran might be a handful but I'd like to think the companions admire her for a reason. Without her, many of them would still be lost

Hell- Far Harbor probably would've been worse off than when Fran showed up, despite her being unable to unite the people

Without Fran's help with the railroad and aiding in the perception of synths, a lot of brutality would face synths and paranoia would likely increase

It seems like a pretty bleak future without Franny- unless you like the Institute in which case I guess it'd be a good thing

And dang Nick might not've made it out of Skinny Malone's grip

He probably would have but still

Curie would still be stuck in the vault

Codsworth would probably continue working at Fran's old house like something out of There Will Come Soft Rains

Until he'd eventually go mad or shut down

Mechanist would continue to terrorize the commonwealth

Yeah this au where Fran dies is pretty upsetting xD

For all the bad things she does or poor decisions she does make you gotta admit that overall- she did waayyyyyy more good

More good than people would probably give her credit for xD

Like I don't believe that the commonwealth views her as a god/messiah figure like they did with Misaki in the capital wasteland

Fran made some choices that were unpopular or some groups really disliked. She's becomes a big figure but like most big figures, she has her share of controversy

Unlike in FnV where the courier is simply a card in a larger game, Fran is actually a player
