[Gaming] Shadow of the Colossus is free this month on PS Plus /gently touches screen

I'm so glad I waited on buying it, now. This is one of my favorite games of all time. ....even if I've never actually gotten more than halfway because MAN am I bad at this game |D

(For the record I also picked up the other free game, Sonic OC Generator Sonic Forces XD So that should be. interesting)

How is the story itself? The trailer didn't give much indication, and story is the biggest part of most games for me

Shadow of the Colossus has almost no story, in typical Team Ico fashion. You're in forbidden lands to resurrect a girl (of whom the relation to the player is unknown, just that he cares for her enough to violate law and steal a magic sword), are contacted by a god??? and make a deal with it to kill 16 colossi. That's about it |D

The game is beautiful and challenging, but it's definitely "make your own conclusions" re: story

Hmm. Yeah, I was definitely intrigued by the fact that Bluepoint did the remaster,since their work on the Uncharted trilogy was gorgeous
