something i have been struggling with rp wise recently is that i feel marie is too positive for aef and it makes it hard to have her directly involved in more serious events

i enjoy promoting bonds and tea parties but ultimately that's... it, i guess? she is a handy type of character for when there are new arrivals or when something light hearted is happening but I do not feel like i am contributing to the game as a whole if it makes sense so i would be grateful for any advice

See, I think that's adding to the game, though? not every character has to be the kind of person to drive forward a lot of darker, more serious plots. If a game, any game, was nothing but that, I'd hate it

I feel that you should focus less on contributing to the game and more on what you get out of it. If playing Marie here is fulfilling for you that’s what matters. If it’s not that’s when you need to take a step back and think about it.

thanks everyone! I feel like I succeded at having her become kind of a recognized mascot character in aef if that makes sense? I enjoy playing the sweet ray of sunshine but i was worried i am wasting potential here and i was going to use the execution opportunity to have her make a more serious post next month but i am afraid of overdoing the drama

No, not at all. Do what's fun for you. I enjoy having sunshine around, but nobody is sunshine and rainbows all the time. Fate/ is like that.
