Of all the pets I have had, I think the one that was the worst at the vet was Coconut. She was this tiny bichon puppy and she was just. CRYING. NON-STOP. And upset and ANGERY and she had so much food aggression. She passed when she was five from cancer and tumors but holy hell did she give both vet and groomers a lifetime of hassle

Hilariously, the last time I took my cat to the vet, they told me all about how well-behaved and easy to handle she was. I just looked down at my arms and hands covered in scratches and went "okay"

my own cat is also an enormous shithead. When we tried to get her blood drawn for her senior panel, she was so much of a terror that the vets sent us home with a sedative and rescheduled her appointment.

The sedative for the second appointment did not work. I drove to the practice praying it would kick in en route but it never did. They somehow managed to draw her blood though.

my brother's cat is a hellcat when you try to put her in her carrier, she hisses and claws and my mother gets terrified. One time my brother came downstairs while Mom was running away from the cat, held Trouble out at arm's length, tipped the carrier upright with his foot, and dropped her in. Mom asked him how he did that, and he replied, "I'm an engineer."
