So I rented Midway and I can honestly say that may have been one of the worst movies I've ever watched.

Like several characters have exactly one personality trait and apparently there weren't enough for everyone, so like half the cast doesn't actually get any or has to share

Exposition is wielded like a warhammer

there are entire parts of the movie that could have been cut and not affect the story at all

(and should have been cut)

There's even a few characters that get introduced like they're gonna do literally anything for the rest of the movie and then just never appear again

Like just imagine Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor

only somehow worse
