walking to work earlier I noted a thing: when I first moved here 7 years ago (!!!!) I could barely walk 3 blocks without getting a bit winded. now I walk to work which is 1.1 miles one way and am not winded at all!

that said tho. I'm glad Eric gave me a ride home bc I overestimated how warm it was and didn't take a hat or gloves with me. and it was sunny at the time. walking home without those things would have been kinda risky
