[my dad is fun] so fun story, my dad got back from Vietnam for a wedding and he's all fine and dandy despite all the corona virus concerns. We asked him if he got any shit given to him since he didn't wear a mask

and apparently, someone asked him on the plane, "Hey why aren't you wearing a mask?"

his answer

"everyone else is already wearing one, so why do i have to"

my aunt was afraid he'd get some racism directed at him upon coming back to here, but since we're SoCal, Viet people arriving in isn't a big deal thankfully

that and although my dad isn't really a tall person, he kind of looks intimidating so i'm like thinking

"what kind of dumb asshole would take one look at my dad and try to be racist at him"
