Something I've noticed for the FFVIII remaster: Boost is broken for GFs

if they know it, it's supposed to give you the little button mashing icon to up their damage.

It has yet to appear for any of the three who know it

I know it's there and working, since you can up the damage by pressing the button anyway, but. Without being able to see the prompt, you end up resetting it more often than not.

also it's been idk how many years and I still remember who to draw GFs from because I played this game so damn much

ah figured it out

you have no select button to hold so you have to press the touchpad down to see the prompt

not knowing this might have been a bigger issue if I hadn't habitually over-leveled >>
