I'm in the endgame of the rewatch of FMA. I really do love the animation as much as I love the dialog in the manga. I wish they'd kept more of the latter in the former.

Roy hates this fight, though. He's so very useless in those first minutes of blindness.

I like how the Briggs men target "the man with the long blond hair"
but "don't shoot fullmetal by accident" when Ed also has long blond hair instead of "the mostly naked guy"

And I love that the chimera get to fight in this version of the main fight. Maybe they're supposed to be there in the manga as well, but they get some screen time in the anime.

Father's pissy face when he starts losing control just makes my day.

Al choosing to sacrifice himself for Ed makes me tear up. Lots of this canon makes me tear up.

And Greed. Oh, man, Greed. Babydoll, I just want to hug the shit out of you.

I really do think Greed's death is the one that makes me cry the hardest out of all the deaths in FMA. Possible exception of Nina, but even then I'm more emotionally invested in Greed.

I'd kill to play against a Greed. Any of my characters, either Greed.

And that's that. My occasional reread/rewatch of FMA comes to an end.

...So now I need something new to read.
