[Work] I get so tired of hand holding questions at work sometimes. Especially when I'm the only one in my department like today.

I'm super busy and got 3 questions I shouldn't have had to deal with because people are to lazy to read the notes.

And I always seem to come off as the bad guy when I ask: what do the notes say.

Or at least let them give you a manager's title and pay for it.

One person at least admitted they didn't look and said sorry after

And 2 of the questions weren't even related to my department

Why would I know if your lead (who is out sick today) called a customer back for you yesterday? I mean... I know they did because I read the fucking notes, but you could have done that yourself without calling me.

THIS IS WHY WE HAVE NOTES PEOPLE SO WE CAN SEE WHO UPDATED THE THING LAST AND WHY

My other favourite was when I left a message for someone letting them know that we couldn't get a colour in space grey. The only stock we have is for silver and gold (and has been for the past 2 weeks so I was secretly already annoyed they tried to order it again.)

Then they called me back asking what does my message meant. (The word for word message was: handset is no longer available in space grey. Please contact customer to offer silver or gold. Email reports with updated colour choice once confirmed.)

You've never had a problem before with this note. Why are you now calling me asking if that means we're out of stock of gold too. At what point did I say we don't have gold?!
