I can get a text being all "add this wine" with a pic of it, okay, can do that, gotta find a good image and edit it and figure out where the wine even IS in the menu and all that but sure
instructions aren't always clear, especially on the restaurant owners' ends, so I have to just make shit up. hey if you don't like where I put your gnocchi on the menu then not my fuckin problem, you should've told me, kanyeshrug
like lmfao right now some restaurant now has "Burger 1" and "Burger 2" on their menu because they didn't tell me what the fuck the burger pics they sent us are supposed to be under (and they don't fit anything already on the menu)
so I'm sure they'll get back to us soon wondering what's up and hopefully telling us what they actually wanted with them. told my boss to ask them about those pics but yeah. lmao.
That's customers for you. Often times, they know what they want, but can't articulate it, and expect you to be able to translate what they're saying into what they're imagining.
Nothing was standardized. And, while the account execs are supposed to work out what things mean for us in that situation, there were tons of times where they'd just pass on exactly what the client said expecting the coders to just figure it out.
Instructions not clear. Eating mouseffffff right
