hot honey and lemon water is fucking magical for coughs you guys

I sometimes get really unpleasant spasmodic coughing when I'm recovering from a sore throat and it was miserable yesterday

and I was considering going back to taking nyquil and my dad was like "let's try this (I have no idea if it'll work)"

2 cups of hot water, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1.5 teaspoons honey

in ten minutes I'd completely stopped coughing
