Egon has parsed Marco as well meaning, but a bit too paranoid and holier-than-thou. Outside of god conflicts, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy and is a staple of the community for a reason, but he gets the impression that Marco holds himself to different standards than everyone else. He does know Marco is smarter than most about Elias,
larkworth He does not know Polnareff well, but he does think he's a little crass. Egon can respect the hair game, and is pretty used to "dude, what the hell" reactions when he starts getting weird about studying, and the least he can say is that Pol seems to be well meaning or at least not actively malicious and he has some very fascinating changes he

Egon and AM is such a weird, delightful bit of CR. Egon definitely fears and hates AM, but there's so much resentment and spite in there that he cannot help but love to spit in his face. He has a weakness for big dudes who can manhandle him and AM takes it way, way too far but he just can't resist that self destructive challenge.
He's also a weird constant here, which is really kinda distressing. They haven't doe much to each other lately, but that back and forth is quintessential for him at this point. If AM wasn't there, would it really be Ryslig?
Virgil and AM Virgil knows AM almost entirely from anonymous interactions. Being mocked on the network, his very very distressing possession by AM-in-Kain right after arriving, being used to get a flower shop discount. He only saw his face that one time, so it's mostly "That weird, big demon guy"
The Sun Rises
Egon and Black Hat Egon hates him, maybe not as much as AM, but he hates his attitude and his possessiveness and the fact that he risked both their lives to possess Egon at the animals event, and that Flug is so blinded by him. He takes it very, very personally when someone insults his intelligence or stifles his work,
Virgil and Black Hat Virgil... doesn't know what to make of Black Hat yet, exactly, but he does sort of have a preset fear and respect for him. This is mostly because Flug really talked him up as, well, what he was back home- some eldritch monstrosity. He also had a lot of discussions about Villainy before he and Black hat met proper so working for him
in Black Hat's defense, he did not realize how badly a demon possessing a neph would go, but also he loses all defense because his pride and inability to comprehend himself dying made him try to hold the possession well beyond what a reasonable person would do
Since actually meeting he's absolutely aware Black Hat is up to no good, there's no bones about it, but he doesn't know Black Hat is even aware of his feelings towards Flug and is just really, really thrilled with the work he's getting to do and not being on a shitlist is a pretty great place to be. He likes feeling useful
Virgil's first impression of Steve is that he's a perfectly agreeable, normal guy. That's kind of refreshing, being surrounded by so many deeply eccentric folks- sort of including himself- and he thinks they could be good buddies. Not sure how to feel about the offer of a back rub at first, but he actually will take him up on and enjoy it for self care sake
He mostly just stared at the ceiling the whole time with Boone, it was some event where people where growing plants all over their bodies and he had hallucinogenic fungus to spare. He absolutely has stores of it left
absolutely, I'm trying to get Egon out there some more so he'll be coming to newbies to poll about changes and how he can help and if his books have been helpful at all
And Steve is really gonna enjoy his alcohol in Ryslig
