Either one! I just find the thick, goopy, gross ointment type to work better than the more lightweight cream ones. Don’t remember if Savlon has different types. (Here, neosporin does, which is why I made the distinction. The active ingredients are the same, it’s just what the texture is)
If what you have is lightweight, you could put a dot of petroleum jelly on top of the antiseptic stuff. Idk why, it just seems to protect and soften the skin better, at least for me!
that area around our nails can be pretty sensitive so i'm not surprised you wound up with a leetle wound after the cardboard incident. i'm glad it's mending tho!
