[RP] Do you ever run your character's CR through various tests in your head to track and compare where they're at... for instance, "would my character get into a fight for this person"
like "oh... you know, I think he would actually intervene for this person if they were in danger" or "...he would get fuckin pissed if someone messed with this person because they're his." lol
I'm having a similar discussion with myself in the thread with Legato, actually. Trying to decide if Azwel would intervene on behalf of this rando that Legto i torturing.
I do like to wonder how various CR would react to either a character's important people showing up, or finding out things about a character that might change how they think about them
with Legato, he gets possessive, so it's fun to imagine him getting protective or territorial over the meager connections he forms with people, thinking of what he'd do if their important people from home showed up
Knives talks about using Legato publicly someday, flaunting how obedient and submissive Legato is for other people to see, and I'm like... oh lord how would his CR react to seeing that
He's not sure how he feels about Legato, but he knows he really dislikes Knives, and a part of him is fascinated by this dynamic the two of them have, and yet he worries it'll spread to other people, and really, what else can he expect from a human-hating psychopath....
That's the arc I'm kinda following with Azwel. He's done all this villain shit and he'll probably still do all this villain shit but now it's being done to him and it's made him step back and go, 'hang about....'
but he has been functioning mostly independently for so long, and has gone through so many mind and reality-altering events in games, some small, important things have changed since canon
I can see it now. Vash storming down to wherever they are with his hand over his eyes. Pointing in the direction he THINKS they're in, but he's actually pointing at the empty space next to them while attempting to lecture them or at least lecture Knives
