Hello all! I have a killer headache but I'm being the Historical Society guru today. How is everyone?

Also sometimes I love being the go to tech person...

It's not every day you can make the big bad historical society guy feel dumb.

He came to me yesterday saying "My scanner won't."

I looked at it and fiddled with it (on a Mac which I've nearly never used) and just knew it wouldn't connect to the computer. I thought it was wireless...

But after like 5 minutes of research figured out that surprise! It isn't.

The USB got unplugged. That's literally it.

He moved it to restart it after a power surge and the USB popped out.

Now I'm just listening to the executive director and the treasurer (the big bad) have a meeting about the building. Then the executive director and I are going to lunch and I get to go work at the library til it closes.

.... "my scanner won't." LOL

That's exactly how he said it, too, isn't it?
