It also doesn't help that most of the alliance were freaking idiots. Me included. I may need to turn down the sparkles for others a bit more so I can SEE THE AOEs

Being unable to see where I don't need to be standing is a good thing. Sparkles are nice, but jeebus some of those heals make me unable to see and I've already got it turned down
