Just got hit with the significance of taking away Mob's powers in February and I'm very excited

On one hand, it's going to be a little cathartic for Mob to be able to actually feel normal (albeit still like shit bc Whoops He Died) and be able to express emotion without fearing explosion, something he hasn't gotten to do before at the point in canon I took him from

On the other hand, psychic power is still a part of him: he's going to be weirded out by it being gone, especially since the side of his powers that's his subconscious suppressed emotions is completely absent

Which. I'm giving him vivid nightmares where ???%/Shigeo is going to talk to him since. That's gotta process the warping and he's got a lot of feelings about the events on the ship and dying that Mob is like. Well time to never deal with that

At least it will give Mob some interesting development re: gaining some emotional self-awareness
