I'm not sure being able to romance Cullen as a guy would make his romance plotline, as it is written now, less boring than it actually is, but it couldn't hurt
I didn't find Blackwall's story uninteresting (though... I also don't know why he's straight romance only, either. Why can't all the characters be player-sexual like in DA 2 with the exception of Sebastian who was awful)
They were trained and taught certain things, and that's how they live. I mean, over time, they'd be able to see the differences, but it would take a while. (I mean, if you can get a mage to Romance Cullen....)
I did the romance with Solas because you wind up getting a lot more dialogue and exposition out of him. I...still have no idea why he's straight (I could say this about all of the straight characters)

the warrior is Cassandra, aka one of the few templars in game with their heads somewhat screwed on well and total fanservice for us that like our women knightly. the rogue is Varric, aka it's a crime he ain't romanceable with that voice and charm.

my folk's classes, races and possible romances: Aramat - Human Mage or Rogue Probably a serial romancer Eda - Dwarf Rogue, would romance Varric but Iron Bull or even /gasp Sera would do Oscar Elf Mage, you know Cullen is the dream, but probably will go unromanced.
