social security office and DMV is correct! you need both of those things corrected. then gradually contact any bills that are in your name

main thing is those two. if you mention off the bat you got married while changing any bills or accounts in your name, 95% they'll change it without any fucking hesitation. also you need to update it with the bank quickly!

trying to think of all the shit I changed but mine was a little different cuz I had to go the HARD ASS WAY since I didn't take my spouse's name, we both changed it fully

I think PayPal gave me the hardest time because most places I called over the phone like I GOT MARRIED, THIS IS MY NEW LAST NAME and they were like oh yea np!!

high school diploma is fine to leave as is until you change your first name as well. then you should contact your highschool and see if they can reissue. which they can, just some charge a small fee
