On one end, I kinda feel for Game Freak because this is their first big console game and they got caught slippin in a place they have little experience in.
On the other: More people need to know about Nintendo's brand of gaming bs. Like I keep telling people their MO is 'build TONS of goodwill with the gaming audience so when we do our company bullshit no one knows, no one knows or cares to learn about our dirty hands.'
What I'm trying to say is, some developing companies do deserve to be dragged, but a lot of the time you have to look that what's holding the leash of the dev's to figure out what's REALLY going on.
the problem is dickholes started making it about the game devs being lazy which is dumb, instead of corporations gonna capitalism. I mean, probably partly on purpose, but it really fucked up the discussion right from the word go
They are like Disney except terrifyingly competent and still making objectionably good stuff.Like sometimes I do wonder what Game Dev nightmares are like over the pacific and then I cringe and don't wanna know.
