it mostly goes over why using the Sundial specifically probably wouldn't work

but one of the other important things he mentions is that we get closure for Cayde's death, but not for Saint

Also I, selfishly, kind of like when parts of the lore I care about are wrapped up because I struggle very badly at keeping up with it

even if it's a somewhat bittersweet closure

Plus if they revive Cayde-6 they will degrade trust in what they tell us because they told us, unequivocally, that Cayde-6 is dead and is not coming back.

They stepped out of lore to say that IRL, no fourth wall winks, no story talk.

Like, if we see a Cayde-7 happen that's.... maybe plausible if they can sell it to me because that would be holding to the spirit of that, the character would not be the same anymore, but.

if it happens, there needs to be some kind of backlash or fallout from it

either he's basically a different person, or he's pissed at us for ignoring his wishes

Honestly more than anything to do with Cayde specifically I want to know more about exo lore in general
