for heavensward steam ppl just like, couldn't play early access even if they preordered

also you can't switch your account to a non-steam one ever

yeah for pc, steam is not a good way to do ffxiv

thankfully i don't particularly care about physical collector's editions and they've been doing better about coordinating early access stuff so it's not quite so bad for me, but y e a h
