Tried to go Christmas shopping and my knee wasn’t having it - got about half done. I was only shopping for my hubs. He does the whole family and has such terrible arthritis I don’t know how he does it. I’m sitting here in terrible pain and I know he just sits around in this kind of pain all the time. I don’t know how he does it.

I feel like occasionally our lives have some amazing parallels. I feel your life is more stressful then mine though.

I blew out my knee the other day and WOW, it has been giving me so much grief! I cannot imagine having to put up with that kind of pain all the time! I am sorry that your knee is being an asshole, and I am also sorry that Hubs has that horrid arthritis! Pain is the worst!

Sad maple shoes : we found a supply of gummies and it has improved O's life immensely. It's legal, medical or recreational, in all 4 surrounding states, but not ours of course. It's so much better than opiates/opioids, which he couldn't get anyway... they cracked down on prescribing those 4 or 5 years ago, especially at the VA.

Hopefully soon the laws get changed here. It's not a panacea for everything, like some people say, but it does so much for chronic pain.

We get some sometimes but not regularly so I give them to her because I smoke anyway.
