how do my characters show love?

oh boy

kenzi is a very affectionate person with those she's close to, all about hugs, kisses and cuddles

personal boundaries are not really a thing once she's decided youre her friend

also she will cut a person and, well, as proven by her literally walking into a doorway to hel that was made of pure energy, die for those she loves

i mean, she was even willing to let bo kill her if it meant bringing hale back

how she shows love for her friends and how she shows love for those she loves isnt really that different, except obv theres much more intimate stuff going on with lovers

tho commitment scares the shit out of her and she will run from it or convince herself she has time when she doesnt

kenzi's a mess

her commitment issues stem from a lot of crap in her childhood, biggest which not wanting to settle on a man that turns out to be horrible like she thought her mother had

(turned out her mother was just as horrible)

persephone is also very much in the "show my friends all the physical affection ever" camp + constantly checking up on those she cares about

when it comes to her one and only crush tho (hades) she gets a little shy

she'll have moments of being bold and flirty and then pull back and be all shy (tho part of it has to do with the fact hes with minthe and while she doesnt like minthe she doesnt want to do something to hurt her)

both are also big into giving gifts, kenzi will spent hella money (or steal) on stuff, she's also just really good at knowing what to get people once she knows them

persephone's gifts are more likely to be flowers or food

kenzi's also big on nicknames, usually something cute for those she cares about, everyone else gets something that prob has to do with wangs or douches because its kenzi
