just done the maths for a BBC news item about train fares. Mr spokesman for evil corporate rail says 98% of fares goes on the running the railway. But why should the remaining 2% be profits for some unnecessary scum at the top. A fare rise of £136 to £5036 is more than 2%. So ditching the capitalists would have saved that money.

Is baffled as to how train fares can be so high and yet the companies can't afford extra trains, meaning that at peak hours most trains are always packed with standing passengers like sardines, and in winter you have around a 30% chance of your train being cancelled because of the weather. When we had government subsidies, this didn't happen.

we still have huge government subsidies but they go to the fat cats (mis)managing the railways.

these sorts of things should be taught in schools so that children learn earlier just how corrupt the adults running their country are. The scum will still be scum but the dregs will be wiser to what's going on and might do better at overthrowing them.
