So. There are various headcanons about who remembers what about the Rebellion (or as Crowley calls it, Lucy's snit fit where he invited all his friends to camp in Mother's basement). And I think I just worked out mine.

Of course the demons remember everything that happened. It wouldn't sting half as much otherwise.

Their angelic names are effectively deadnames, since there's no way to get that status back and most to all of them wouldn't want to. (See: I love the 'Crowley was Raphael' headcanon but it is not a necessary backstory element because whatever his name was, he's two names past it.)

Angels, on the whole, recall with somewhat less clarity.

Gabriel and company have probably told the lesser angels that Demons Don't Remember Heaven, Don't Be Silly, to discourage seeking out old friends.

I don't think demons would need to do the same in reverse because Fuck Those Guys, They Threw Us Out.

What any given angel remembers probably depends on their war experiences. Demons tend toward perfect clarity on what they can no longer access.
