anyone here understands electrical wiring? This switch is for my water heater, and it’s in 1 switch but it have 4 cable instead of 2, the lower part usually neutral and the upper part is live. Is it possible to install this into a switch with 2 cables input?

I don’t understand how come the LED only connected to live wire, that’s the the imaginary upper blue and red cable.

If the bottom imaginary blue and gray cable are both neutral, why can’t it just use one cable?

I understand that my water heater migh have 2 heaters, top and lower heater in a single container, so the electrician combine it into one switch, but should it be done inside the heater it self?

All of them goes inside the wall. They bottom blue and gray are neutral wire, I’m pretty sure.

The worst part of this cabling is actually I don’t know where they put the heater yet

You’re correct went up to see the heater finally found my heater and there are only red and blue cable that goes to the heater. thanks. Solved.
