Roomie has a line on a tech job up there, and I'll be going where she goes. Cos I can't afford to live on my own and god knows whether I'd ever find someone else I can stand to live with. And it's not like I have any roots in Portland.

But 云深不吃素 if you happen to have a line on a two-bedroom pet-friendly apartment for reasonable dough in the vicinity, that might weight the decision toward that.

Don't feel the need to go digging or anything, like I said this is all up in the air. I just mean if by some happenstance you're aware of such a thing.

used to be Cap Hill was also affordable and close but then it got all gentrified

i see! well, the light rail runs from the university district down to tacoma where the airport is, so the most public transportation-friendly locations are naturally going to be along that route
