First: Explosive as an element no longer exists

The trick is inputting the codes, then before going to the social menu to receive them, going offline mode

Essentially, whatever keys you redeemed for will be waiting for you when you quit and reload the game

This only works before you grab the keys from your mail

you may also need to kill whatever is connecting your game to the internet.

Third: You get WAY MORE STUFF from the Golden Chest in 3 than in previous installments

You are always guaranteed 4 Mods (Grenade, Class, Shield, or Eridian) + a number of weapons

Fourth, related to Third and Second: You actually have decent odds of getting Legendaries in this fashion

Fifth: as of right now, the normal story scales to the party leader's level, but the system is not perfect

Some zones are grossly underleveled for some reason

keep that in mind, as drops will scale to the zone level, not yours

However, if you don't pay attention, you can actually hit level cap while doing post-game things, as certain challenge zones scale directly to your level
