Until recently a genderless god, but at one point had a lady champion so impressive that she decided to be a woman, at least for a while

Zetheus is a hotheaded and enthusiastic war goddess, specifically invested in the drama of war more than the strategy or even outcomes

Her absolute favorite thing is a really noble and brave hero meeting a proud and poignant tragic end

Drives her to tears every single time
Quinneapolis
So you need to be wary when asking for Zetheus's favor

because she'll give you martial prowess beyond equal,
Quinneapolis
but she'll also be really satisfied if it ultimately ends badly for you
Quinneapolis
you'll probably accomplish what you set out to do, at great personal cost

A sample myth about Zetheus:

There was, once upon a time, two lovers on opposite sides of a great war

Zetheus took a great interest in their tale, as did Cethellone (god of Love, Joy, and Beauty)

but they disagreed fiercely on how their story could best end

with Zetheus adjusting events to guide them towards dying heroically in each other's arms, while Cethellone adjusted events to guide them towards a happy life together

In the end, they survived, but one was grievously wounded, and eventually died a few years after the war after they had a child

Zetheus and Cethellone shed so many tears over them that a new river was born

now a major source of trade and agriculture

and their child eventually became a champion of Skafos, god of rivers and carpentry

Things can be too difficult for her to achieve, and she can feel pain from being wounded

but she can just keep at a task for days and never feel any fatigue

So her strong point is anything that requires a great deal of steady, simple work

and her fighting style is very defensive, hoping to just outlast an opponent until she has the upper hand from not being tired
Quinneapolis
Her goal is to become a Champion and by doing so provide for her family so that they can have a better life
Quinneapolis
Sethia does a lot of anxiety
