She's been both. Currently trying to eviscerate an old slipper but when I took her out earlier she was good as gold. I tried the "worn clothing" thing which is supposed to be a comforter. Not quite sure how I feel about the fact she tries to destroy things that smell of me rather than cuddle up to them! With luck she'll fall asleep soon!

How long till she can go out?

Another 4 weeks - a week after her next injections she can go for local walks. A further 2 weeks after that before she can go to parks & the forest. Got to give the leptospirosis jab longer to take effect, apparently. She has a 30 minute puppy party on 9 November, which will be good for both of us.

Yes, you can start socializing her then. Charlie does not play well with other dogs, unfortunately.

Bembo still sees a dog he met at his puppy party. They don’t play much now, but they’re still happy to meet, and the female owner is definitely on his top ten list.

Oh that's nice. Yes, I'm hoping we meet some nice dogs and people. There's a local Schnauzer group on Facebook & they meet up for walks, which might be nice. And then I want to get onto a puppy training course. It's a good job I'm not working, so I have the time for these things.
