....all right, who the fuck but "Ave Maria" on in the background. WHAT WAS I THINKING. (I was thinking I'd get back to Hitman: Blood Money. Not...the best idea. But. I didn't have anything else I could think of.)
Not so many complaints as just... personal observations and opinions based off my quirky personality. But honestly. A really good watch. And ending to a grand series of events.
Don't get me wrong, I love them all to varying degrees. If any that are left are favorites it's Spider-Man (whose comics I grew up reading sporadically alongside Sonic the Hedgehog [bite me, I love those comics]) and Hawkeye who I fell for during the time of the movies let's face it. But. yeah.
(There is a reason I am mad about Jasper Sitwell being a bad guy. HYDRA. Fuck no. You see, to me he wasn't some one-off side character in the movies. To me, he was the silly little guy in the comics that kept appearing over and over again to do his best as a SHIELD Agent. See, I read the old Iron Man comics before he showed up in the movies.)
I don't know what they have planned for that upcoming series version of Loki.... but I know it's not what I want. Probably. And who knows how long it'll be before I actually get to watch it. I don't think I'll be coughing up the money to Disney any time soon. They crazy. Also expensive. And vaguely evil.
I played Loki on and off again for many years in the past. It's been hard to say goodbye to him. I still.... think about playing him again sporadically. I miss him. He was good fun. I'm just afraid of screwing up after so many years of playing him. Resetting can be hard sometimes, ya know? He had such CR in some places, development. It messes with things
It's kinda always been there, ya know? I did read Spider-Man when I was young. I grew up watching the Spidey cartoon (from the nineties. the good one. and.... the less good one? that I remember fondly anyway. the future one. it was cool looking. then again, I also really loved Sherlock 20...12? shit. whatever number it was. it was Sherlock in the future)
I read the old Iron Man comics about that time, too. (A good friend got me all of them digitally to read. Ah, the good ol' days. when I had friends... and good interests)
And then up until Antman and the Wasp I had seen every movie in the theaters. Then it went down hill after that.... mostly because I had fallen behind and couldn't bear to watch them out of order.
I thought I'd catch up with Endgame, I managed to watch the last few leading up to that in time if just barely, but... I didn't make it to the theater on time to watch it. I even purchased tickets one night but got there too late to catch it from the beginning. And I mean.... I had such trouble getting there that I wasn't just missing the credits at that
Now, if I can just resist this feeling of nostalgia long enough to step away from the computer so I don't go reread old rp threads.... that would be nice.
"donttakemystuff"! goddamn, i knew there was one journal in between that i couldn't remember the damn name of. that was the best run at ExitVoid. "suchajerk" was the follow-up after they switched phases of the game and I updated Tony while I was at it.
...It's disturbing how much I want to find this one thread I remember happening... or the planning thereof if it wasn't actually threaded out. Because. what it was (a character's death) but. I really want to find it.
Basically, I read one of the threads just after it and now I really want the one where the thing happened. I swear Tony shot Chief in the face...... but it's not explicitly stated in the aftermath thread.......
Apparently this was a thing I did???? How...I had time... back in the day.... I guess..... man, do I wish when I had the time and effort to put things together.
tried to bringbrought him back. Sort of.(It wasn't the same. Not to me.)
I'm just afraid of screwing up after so many years of playing him. Resetting can be hard sometimes, ya know? He had such CR in some places, development. It messes with thingsLookit all these DMC journals! Holy fuck. I played all the fucking characters from that series. I mean, almost all. coughThe one character I've played more than Tony Stark? Dante from Devil May Cry. I've picked him back up so often... ah. good times.
