the username comes from an early mission when he's mocking V's constant poetry and one of the lines in his mock soliloquy is "I got your back, 'cause dying is whack!"
By twisting the handle, he can rev up the sword, inject it with fuel and basically ignite it to make it hit harder and make special moves even stronger
