Props to Deadly Women for including a trans woman in their selection.

I think the main reason they said she was trans at all is 'money for reassignment surgery' is a factor in what happened.

(And her asshole gambling-addicted aunt talked her into the murder.)

(Said aunt in fact seems to've done most of the work.)

On the whole I think the show handled that very well, which is always good.

Pronoun consistency went right out the window in another episode, to the point where it's unclear if the victim was 'trans woman' or 'man who was most comfortable wearing women's clothing.'

(The segment about the luchadora who was a serial killer was interesting. I have to wonder if anyone else would have died if her mother had been available when she started...)
