So much buildup, such a rewarding payoff

if Luffy had eaten literally any other devil fruit (idk maybe a logia would've survived it??), he'd be fried

But the other thing with this arc is it's amazing how much the poneglyphs tie into just... the overreaching plot of the world government, and how the Jayans/Shandorans were one of the nations that stood as guardians of the world before the world government.

Even though they were sort of a remote kingdom to the 'civilized' world, they were still trusted with its secrets

Oftentimes it's a girl like Conis, Vivi, Keimi, Shirihoshi, Rebecca, and a few others here and there xD

Oh and HOLY HECK MY NAMI/LUFFY SHIPPY FEELS GOT RE-IGNITED YET A-FREAKING-GAIN!

Just... the sheer joy on her face when she saw Luffy had come for her, and like... how she makes him promise that she won't die when she takes him to fight him again. (which comes later in this arc, but all the feeeeels)
